Career and technical education (CTE) courses are an important component to a student’s education and are used to measure a graduates’ preparedness for college, the workforce, or the military. Let the TXVSN help your students gain access to courses in a program of study that meets their needs. There are several different CTE courses that students can access to put them on the path to be a CTE Concentrator and CTE Completer, and local education agency (LEA) can receive weighted funding for students who are enrolled in these courses.
TXVSN courses can provide LEAs with options to expand student opportunities beyond local offerings. LEAs can use the TXVSN courses to maximize their CTE teaching staff and to fill in the gaps in their master schedule to provide different pathways to meet student's interest and needs. The TXVSN CTE Flyer lists the available catalog course offerings aligned with the different CTE programs of study
